Open to anyone who has a family member or loved one who has suffered a stroke. When a stroke occurs, it doesn’t just impact the person who experienced the stroke. It also impacts the family and the spouse or partner. With the change in family roles, family stress grows.
Discover how to take better care of yourself, and find new resources available to you and your family member. Family caregiver coach, Dorcas Greene, will lead the groups and arrange visits by local experts who can share advice and respond to your questions. Stacy Hennis, a physical therapist who specializes in stroke recovery, brings techniques to build your confidence in aiding the stroke survivor.
