Physical Therapy Successes
“After a severe stroke in 2010 that left me with little movement in my right side I began the usual regimen of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and personal training. I did make tremendous progress that started with regaining balance and increased movement. I could sit up without falling to my right side and began walking with the numerous aides and assistance.
With my progress I also formed bad habits that developed into severe muscular and skeletal misalignment. Unfortunately, this development went relatively unnoticed. Its severity began to effect my walking and even my ability to stand. Standing at the sink to perform my daily toiletries soon became an increasing challenge. The pain I now experienced along with this setback took little time to dampen my spirits. I simply lost my motivation of which I had prided myself.
Welcome Gina Malloy into my life! I became aware of New Beginning Physical Therapy and this outfit peaked my interest when I heard that its approach was different from most. Furthermore, it worked to get clients back to good health without the use of the usual prescribed braces and other orthotics.
Gina arrived at my house for the initial evaluation with Stacy Hennis, PT and company owner. After much pulling, prodding and verbal exchange between these two, I began to wonder as to what form of torture I was being subjected! After almost two hours, Gina explained the results of this evaluation very clearly. She also discussed a treatment plan that would best address the findings.
Gina has been providing 90 minutes of Physical Therapy to me in my home three times a week. She is most professional and personable. It is obvious she has a passion for helping her clients as she frequently arrives with new ideas to address issues that she discovers about my ever-changing body. With all the therapy I have had since my stroke, no one has been as attentive or creative. By engaging me in activities that I have enjoyed but now find challenging, Gina is helping me to become whole again. As a result, I am making progress. The pain is diminishing and I no longer feel the level of depression that is so alien to me.
Thank you Gina and New Beginning PT!”

“I had crashed my bike 2 weeks ago and was pretty sore but felt like I was getting better. My energy was still pretty low but I figured my body was just healing. About a week after the crash, I woke up with right shoulder pain. I could not get in a position to relieve the pain. I had a pretty consistent soreness in my sternum that really hurt if I coughed or hiccuped. But this shoulder pain was constant and really dragging me down. Stacy came to my house and I instantly felt comfortable with her gentle healing touch. She worked on me for over an hour adjusting my neck and said a few things were out of place. She spotted that my neck, ribs and even my right jaw was misaligned.
After the session, I felt so much better! No more constant pain and my energy was up too. I have been feeling better ever since and three days later all my energy was back! I felt like I got my life back! Stacy is competent, gentle and really knows what she is doing. It was all very easy. She even gave me recommendations of things I can do on my own and of course I did them. I am a Natural Health Practitioner and it was wonderful to have someone like Stacy work on my body and help it get back to balance.
I would recommend her to anyone who needs to get their body back to normal, has pain or is out of balance. She is somewhere between a chiropractor and a craniosacral therapist – gentle but effective. She hit the bullseye for me! Thanks, Stacy!”

“I had no idea at the time of how blessed I was when I happened to hear a commercial on the radio for “New Beginning Physical Therapy.” What caught my attention was the fact that “they come to you.” That was the operative sentence that possessed me to make the call. Their professionalism and customer focused service was unlike anything I had experienced in quite a while, but that was just the “beginning.” Meeting Stacy, the owner of the company, has changed my life and the life of my bedridden mom in so many positives ways. Stacy has given my mom (who is saddled with early onset dementia and cannot eat, speak, or move on her own) a quality that she could not have had otherwise. My mom is a total care patient who was stuck in bed day after day, month after month. She got stiffer and stiffer until she would wince, if you simply held her hand. Stacy’s treatments were gentle, yet effective. She was able to get my mom loosened up and almost standing. Since Stacy, my mom has even been able to balance herself while sitting at the edge of the bed. Stacy is kind and compassionate. She sees my mom four to five days a week, anywhere from a half hour to an hour, and during that time, she talks to my mom and treats her with consideration and respect. I really can’t say enough about New Beginning Physical Therapy and the difference it has made in our lives, emotionally as well as physically. Thank goodness for that radio ad. I could go on and on ad infinitum, but cliché’ as it sounds, words just aren’t enough to express how thankful we are to New Beginning Physical Therapy.”

Our family would highly recommend Stacy Hennis. Her services for two of our loved ones were marked by excellence in motivation and technique. She was extremely trustworthy and creative. Her work resulted in dramatic, steady improvement in mobility in both cases.”

“I met Stacy over a year ago when I was in rehab after a stroke. She helped me start moving again, with-out the aid of a brace or sling! Now I can walk around my house and have so many more options open to me!”

“Stacy- Thank you for your assistance in helping me learn the proper stretching techniques necessary for optimal health and wellness. As a Certified Fitness Trainer, I understand the importance in keeping muscles flexible and pliable. However, it is overlooked by most of my clients and even trainers like myself, even when it so critical. Through your education and programming, I now know that this can be accomplished easily in twenty minutes a day. Your programming is simple and effective and I will continue to recommend you to all of my clients and any and all individuals committed to a lifestyle of wellness. Keep up the great work!!”

“Dear New Beginning PT, many thanks to your noticing my “over pronating” as I walked on by last week, I took your advice and went to Foot Solutions and came out with two pairs of shoes. The next day I flew 2000 miles and spent several days helping my daughter move…5 days later the pain in my knees is gone, and I am continuing with my exercise program pain free! Thanks so much Stacy!!!!!!”
