Pain is the body’s way of communicating a problem. If a strain or sprain continues untreated, it can develop into a chronic problem. If pain occurs, don’t just ignore it. The first go to activities should be icing and stretching. Stretching is one of the most important things that should be done daily to prevent injury. If pain continues, see a therapist or athletic trainer for a full assessment.
